About Us

Katherine is an Orton-Gillingham Academy (OGA) Certified practitioner who provides diagnostic and prescriptive lesson plans that are adaptive and flexible to each student. Katherine has been tutoring struggling readers using the Orton-Gillingham approach since 2017 offering private sessions and has worked as a substitute learning specialist at Trinity School and Buckhead Preparatory School in Atlanta. Using her knowledge and training as an executive function (EF) coach, Katherine has worked with high school & college-aged students to provide them with greater self awareness, skills development and practice to guide them towards greater academic success and independence. 

As a master's trained clinical counselor, Katherine is equipped with the ability to create a positive learning environment for students who are anxious learners diagnosed with Dyslexia and or Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder. Katherine is married and the mother of three.
